Eased Restrictions on All Eye Care Services
We hope you and your family are all well and we would like to thank you for your patience over the past six weeks.
As you may already know, the Kansas Optometry Board and Department of Health and Environment have eased restrictions on all eye care services. We want you to know we are back open for regular appointments and services as of Monday, May 4th, although with some changes outlined below.
We want our staff and patient family all to feel safe and confident both providing and receiving care. We have strengthened our disinfection protocols and implemented a few new safety measures that we want you to be aware of:
We will send out a screening questionnaire prior to your appointment and measuring the temperature of everyone entering the building (including our staff).
We have reduced our schedule to 40-50% of normal in order to allow ample time and distance between appointments.
We are limiting the number of people in the office at any given time in order to maintain social distancing guidelines whenever possible, for this reason, we ask that you come alone for your appointment whenever possible.
We ask that everyone entering the building wear a mask while inside. Our staff will wear masks at all times and face shields when appropriate as well.
As a way to reduce time in the office and maintain appropriate social distancing, please call or text us at the office number upon arrival, and we will let you know as soon as you’re good to enter and will open the door for you.
We are continuing curb side service whenever possible for picking up your glasses, contact lenses or dry eye products etc, call or text the office upon arrival and we will come to you.
Our optical is open however since we are needing to keep the total number of people in the office limited for now we ask that you call to set up a time to come in for new glasses selection and adjustments.
